"You'd know him better if you talked with him more," Rasya admonishes. Savic really... doesn't know more than they do about this. Good, they think. That gives them an edge. Not that they want to take over their position, no, they like not having direct responsibility, but rather having a general knowledge and ability to do whatever is necessary.

Savic shrugs. "It's awfully troublesome to travel. And besides, there hasn't been need to keep up relations in ages..." They sigh. Rasya is not wrong. Savic hasn't put much effort to politics in centuries. He hasn't had the need to. All they've needed has been within their reach. Work hasn't been necessary... but now, they seem to be a bit behind the rest in that regard. It might be useful, since nobody would expect much from them... but still, Rasya has a point. "But you are right, lad. You are right. I should've stayed in touch with him... and other important contacts. But let this be a new beginning for more activity, eh?"

It is true... they hadn't needed to actually do anything with Elijah in a while. But Rasya knows that if the only time you talk to someone is when you want something, you're gonna have a damn poor relationship. They don't see the point in doing that, so... that's part of why they do so many odd jobs. To build relationships, and trust. "I'd advise to let it continue."

Rasya nods, sticking the money in a pocket. "Thank you very much. Let me finish gardening, and then..." ah, it's already evening. "I'll be out first light tomorrow, yes?" Elijah doesn't actually tend to be up so early, if Rasya remembers right, but Rasya can surely do something to make the time pass.

"That would be ideal. I'll plan to do the same." Rasya extends a hand to Savic again, to shake. They really do respect them, in a rather un-Rasya-like way, for bringing them into the Chosen and giving them this chance to exercise their powers. No way has it been easy, but there's no easy way up. Only hard work. Rasya's parents made this very clear to them, and they've followed that ever since.

"Wonderful. We'll meet then." Savic takes Rasya's hand and shakes. They've always seen potential in Rasya. That Savic respects, and maybe even in a way, looks up to. Rasya has rigor, and works hard. And that's why Savic wanted to recruit them in the first place. Rasya has something Savic lost ages ago: ambition.

Savic nods back to Rasya, and heads away. They puts their shades back on, and walk away from the garden. Their next stop is Bean... but leaving there can wait for tomorrow.
