Krolaken laughs. "Oh we aren't going to meet them. We'll give them a message. If the Tree wants to do something, that's their move. They'll find a way to let us know."

Savic nods. Less travelling to do for any of them, the better. "Sounds like a good move. Will I get to that business, or will you? I can let our people know where to find Ravens."

"You may." Krolaken muses quietly. "And find a way to summon Kit here. They and I need to talk. And so do their...pet."

"I'll pass the word. They'll be here in no time," Savic stand up slowly. There's no hurry. "I'll get to work." By work, they mean they'll get someone else to pass the messages.

"Good." Krolaken continues sitting there, musing silently for a second, before remembering to dismiss Savic. "You may do so."

"All right," Savic says as they put on the shades. "See you later." They raise their hand into a lazy wave as they walk to the door. The real game against Azandra is apparently on now. This kind of game Savic hasn't played too often. They better ready themselves for what's to come.
Savic doesn't want to be a piece in someone else's game, be it Krolaken or anybody else. They'll make their own moves.

Krolaken nods sourly after Savic leaves. Finally, he's gotten rid of... And now... He muses silently, stroking a finger along his beard... Now he should plan... "Golmoroth...Get me-" No...Golmoroth is gone now. He smiles grimly. Seven thousand years. He shouldn't have relied so heavily on him. Clearly it affected his memory. Or perhaps it was the mistake of splitting his aura so much. Either way, he is going to get it back. And he'll be back. In full. Strong once more, and ready to destroy the fools who dared to oppose him.

Location: Krolaken's Fortress, Breeze, Sinis Jan 5, 7000 AGW 7:45 pm Sinis time
Savic descends down the stairs to the gardens, looking for a trustworthy friend. The portal to Terra is open, and the pieces are moving. They need as much of information as they can get. But Savic can only travel so far in so little time. And travel is a bother anyway.
They need to send someone to meet Elijah, prophet of Wood City. Savic themselves has to travel to Bean to meet up with Yggdrasil's Ravens, so they have to send someone else to Wood. And they know just the person for that.
They should be here, in this garden.

Rasya Akhonov did not sign up for this job. But here they are anyways, on their knees in the garden, pulling weeds. To be fair, the head gardener always appreciates their help, because they do it well and carefully. So that's one reason why. Another reason is the simple desire to be useful, even while they're not doing big things outside of Breeze.
To them, anything is worth doing well if it'll give them something in return.
They hear footsteps approaching. The head gardener? They look up, and see Savic. Ah, so they were wrong. They allow a thin smile and a wave. They always have liked Savic, as much as they can like a person. Savic is like them.
Well, sort of.

Savic sees Rasya kneeling at some plants and waves their hand back at them. They take off their shades and put them into a pocket of their coat. "Civil service, eh?" Savic chuckles. "Told you we're here taking care of the greenery. Didn't guess you were dedicated knee-deep in it." They smile friendly. "Hello, Rasya."

Rasya allows a thin grin at Savic's joke (more than they allow for much else!), standing up and dusting off their hands. "Savic," they rasp in greeting. They don't tend to talk much, so this is normal. "What is it?"

"I have something else than gardening for you. There's a... situation Earthside. Krolaken requires action, and so I'm on the move. Need to catch some friends in Bean. But I figure... some extra intel wouldn't hurt anyone. So that's where you'd step in." Savic presses his hands together, and smirks. "How does Wood City sound?"

Wood City. "The Prophet?" Rasya asks, expression neutral. That's the main source of intel that's there. Notoriously tight-lipped unless there's something he wants them to know, and then he tends to seek them out... so not likely there was anything he'll tell them. But still, it's worth a shot, right?

Savic nods. "The Prophet," they confirm. "Might not turn out to reveal anything, but... might aswell try. Perhaps one could get lucky."

Rasya nods, agreeing with their sentiment. "Perhaps. Good luck, Savic." They decide to make a reference to a particular book they'd read... quite a while back. "May the odds be ever in your favor." It's fitting, they think, for a gambling person.

"Well, thank you, although I could be wishing the same to you. I don't have time to go all the way to Wood. You'd be a lot of help for me, Rasya. You'd take a burden off my shoulders. And that's worth of a good reward." They smile friendly, with mischievous twinkle in their eyes. "So what do you say?"

"I have to say yes." Rasya's answer is short, and they smile just a bit, the twinkle shared.

Savic nods. "Perfect. Sooner you can leave, the better. The next few days are going to be important for all of us." Sav scratches his chin. "I figure you know what to ask from 'im. If... the Prophet doesn't want to reveal anything... say we could negotiate a deal. Give 'em something in exchange."

"Anything in particular?" Rasya asks. They'll figure something out if they don't get an answer. More sacrifices probably. But it's better to ask.

"Funds, resources," Savic answers. They aren't so specific about it, mostly because they can't figure out what he desires and how valuable he thinks the information he has is. "I could share some information in return too. Ask him. Or try to figure out what he'd want. It's a shame I don't know him well enough to know." They sigh lightly.
