"Sure!" Manik has brightened up like a fluorescent light. They're as excited as anyone, too excited to think of Zhensou. They're... actually going to go outside? Soon??? They're practically skipping in place, full of nervous energy.

"I don't know! I hope it's very soon! But I dunno!" They grin, and hug her tightly, before actually picking her up and spinning her around. After which, they drop her rather heavily, their energy exhausted. "Oof..."

Manik giggles too, and nods. "Okay."
Not long after the two leave, Tamand hits on an idea. "Matcha, do you know where the... Zhiqi's son-"
"Zhensou?"
"Yes. Where he is."
(2) "I'd have to ask Manik."
"Please do. I... need to know the state of the outside."
Matcha strides out to find her partner.

Haoqi has led Manik towards home, hoping that that is where they'll head once they're tired of walking, not really talking, just walking beside them, listening to them as they babble or talk happily.

(4) Matcha finally catches up to the two. "Manik! Do you know where Zhensou is? Tamand would like to speak with him!" Her tone isn't demanding. It's light, hopeful even.
Manik turns around, grinning. "Course I do! Here, follow me!" They pause, and turn back to Haoqi. "You wanna come too, li'l boltbucket?"

"No that's okay." She nods. "I'll just...keep walking. Shouldn't be hard to find me if you need me, okay?" She'd definitely rather avoid Zhensou right now, the temptation is too much. She doesn't really want soon, not nearly as much as she wants now.

"Hey Storm!" Manik begins, and Matcha adds more quietly, "Tamand needs to talk to you." They're both smiling, if (in Matcha's case) only slightly, indicating something good rather than trouble.

Matcha offers a hand, before leading the way, her straight hair trailing behind her. Straight hair. In Cover, everyone seems to have straight, dark hair and pale skin, except for Manik, who looks more like Eshevrhi. Which is a little strange, because Zhiqi's hair is curly, and aren't they supposed to be related somehow? ... In any case, it doesn't take them that long to arrive, Manik splitting off at some point to go find Haoqi again. They yawn as they go. Probably intending to go home and rest after they find her.

"Oh. Uh." Zhensou blinks rapidly. "I haven't asked her lately. But I think she is doing well. Would you like me to call and ask?" Zhensou feels a little irked now. He's a fountain of information for them, apparently. They could have had spies or something instead of just isolating themselves like this. This is ridiculous. And anyway, he definitely isn't supposed to know some of what he's learned about Azandra.
