9:31 am, Sinis time
Zhensou had slept all day yesterday once he'd gotten to the hotel. He hadn't realized how tired he'd been. He'd slept until 7 almost. Right through lunch. Stopped by TomaChee, had a sandwich, and headed out. Then he'd flown over to Cover. Flying over the water felt different. He probably should have just swum it. It probably would have been just as fast. He'd landed about midway on the island, and spent an hour trudging to the moonside of the island, just like Zhiqi said. Now, he pulls out the bracelet she'd given him, and looks at it, wandering around aimlessly, trying to find something that doesn't look like an entrance. He figures that anything that looks like an entrance isn't it, right? Or maybe that's wrong. Maybe the best hiding place is in plain sight. Eshevrhi had always practiced that. Except when he hadn't. Damn. He could read people too well, always did the opposite of what you expected when it came to things like that. He sighs. Where is Cover... |

Luna-2 rolls through the forest, blissfully ignorant of the fact someone else is currently trying to find an entrance to Cover in the same forest, very near to the robot. LuTu pauses. Did they hear something? They turn their head around, trying to find the source of the sound. It might've just been an animal, but still...

Zhensou sighs. This is ridiculous. "Where the heck...is this thing?" He looks around hopelessly. (5) Hey, there's something over there. He wanders towards it, hoping it's something nice and simple like a button he can push to get in.

LuTu turns their head around, and sees someone approaching. A mythou, obviously. Invasion? Spies? Possibly. Luna decides to flee, and heads towards the closest entrance to the underground Cover.

LuTu lets out a high-pitched shriek as it flees. The Mythou is indeed after Cover. Better not let him catch it. (3) It isn't particularly fast in the bumpy forest ground.

"Waiiiiiit! Please! I have a message for Luna if they're there!" He's running over the terrain (4) but still tired from his flight, so gaining on LuTu is slow.

LuTu can't trust this person. Although the Mythou knows Luna's name, that doen't mean he can be trusted. They (3) keep up the same speed, but don't manage to leave Zhensou behind. They roll around a massive rock, swiftly entering a hidden entrance hidden on its side. They stop inside right next to the entrance. If the Mythou has something to speak, they can speak from the outside.

Zhensou runs after it, and hurtles around the rock and- it's gone. Where'd it go? He opens his mouth, and utters a word which would have gotten his knees knocked out from under him by Eshevrhi. He doesn't care right now. He's sparking, so he leans on the rock, closing his eyes, and tries to breath. After a while, he stops, and starts thinking...maybe it's nearby... "Are you still here?"
He frowns. If it ran away, would it really respond to that question?
"I need to find Luna if they're in Cover. Zhiqi...sent me. Well actually, Eshevrhi did, but I dunno if that matters, Zhiqi agreed to it. Tamand is supposed to know her? I'm also supposed to say Estelle. It's a name they'll know..."
He sighs. This is stupid.

The rock makes a muffled "Bee-opop". Luna-2 will need to tell this to Luna and Tamand. But first, it'll need to find them. "Be-be-be-beeebop!" Hoping that the mysterious Mythou will wait in case he's actually friendly, LuTu heads down to find Luna and Tamand.

Luna is the first of the two Luna-2 comes across. Tall and still regal despite her prosthetics, she smiles kindly at the robot. "Good morning, moonbeam." And bends down, holding out her arms to hug it.

The rock blissfully continues being a rock.
"Boop bee." LuTu greets Luna happily, and leans its head against her. "Bipdoo dabab oooweeh!" They tell her about the strange Mythou outside trying to find her. "Wa-oop beep. Doo-dwee dah, dibdoop dwah." And tell the three names he gave; Zhiqi, Eshevrhi, and Estelle. Maybe Luna can tell what it is all about.

Luna frowns, straightening, as she listens to LuTu. A Mythou looking for her... who knows Zhiqi. And... Eshevrhi? Her eyes widen. Eshevrhi. She knew him... oh, she knew him. He helped her. Her and Zhiqi. But those are just names, she reminds herself. ...She doesn't know the third, though. Estelle? "Am I supposed to know the name Estelle?" she asks LuTu curiously, tilting her head.

The rock would be offended by Zhensou's unabashed fingering of its surfaces, if it would be, say, something else than a rock.
"Bee-opop? Baa do oowah bep." LuTu isn't sure. They also tell the Mythou spoke something about Tamand. "Boop dweea." Maybe they know something about the last name.

The rock lies on the ground with Zhensou. The rock hasn't had a companion like that in ages. If the rock would be released from its rock-like state, it'd appreciate Zhensou's company immensely.
"Dee doop!" Of course! They entered Cover alone. "Bee-doop oowah." The Mythou was left outside.
