There's a gentle knock on Manik's door, before their daughter, Haoqi, comes in carrying a tray of food. "Chiiiip you forgot lunch agaaaiiin." She says, carrying the tray over to them. She hasn't heard about the visit by Zhensou yet, or that Luna has gone...otherwise, this would doubtless be a very different entrance. |

Manik looks up from their current project- oh, it's Haoqi. They grin at her. What a sweet little girl. Then they realize... oh, she's got lunch for them. "Oh. Haoqi sweetie. Already ate. But thank you." This is unusual. Manik never remembers lunch...

Manik's eyes go wide, and they scramble up to stop Haoqi, (1) knocking their entire project to the floor in their haste. Good job Manik. "Haoqi, calm down! They- I could just take you to him. His name is Zhensou, and he's a Mythou. From... Spire, I think... you should ask him." They're grinning now, excited. They'd totally forgotten to ask him! Yes! Their mind is already racing - what is Spire like? They've got to ask him. "Yes! I'll come with you! Come on!" Completely forgetting their project, which is now in pieces, they'd hurry out the door, catching Haoqi's arm and dragging her with them.
