Ryder and Rhyndion Steppes
The history of Rhyndion steppes goes far back to the days before the Great War. Nomadic tribes roamed the vast steppes, herding livestock. Horses were their main method of transportation. Horseriders protected the tribes from dangers. One of these riders, Rhyn the Noble, gathered tribes to head Starward to settle down beside Harmony lake. The settlement made there eventually grew to be the city of Ryder.
Ryder
Ryder, a city in the warm climate between Rhyndion steppes and Cricket forest, is a relatively tightly built city.
The city has an old castle in the middle of it, one that has stood there since before the Great War and been expanded over the centuries. Under the castle are catacombs that spread all over the city. They haven't been used for burials in millenias, but serve as the final resting place for many old royal families.
Under the normal catacombs, deep beneath the surface, lies a cave filled with gemstones. It is called the Tomb of the Ancients, and many Mythou (especially Guardians) have been buried there. For the side that lost in the Great War is reserved the Dark Tomb, unused and mostly unvisited since the end of the War.
Stonevale
Stonevale is a peaceful town located in the hillsides of a large, lush valley. There are farms on the flat bottom of the valley. Old ruins are scattered in the valley.
Balemort
A tiny fishing town, also main port for ships that go to the Odd Isles.
Farcape
Small town that's formed of just a few buildings and a lighthouse.
Stranger's Haven
A small port with a few buildings. Used for fishing and inhabited only during summer months.
Ramtel
A small village between the steppes and the desert, Ramtel is dying away slowly as the citizens are leaving it for either Cassos or Ryder.
Cassos
Cassos is the most Earthward town on mainland Terra. Located on the Horn of Earth, it is a distant location that has formed a culture of its own. The city is built on the mountainous hillsides. Somewhere in the hillside caves lies hidden one of Eliox's secret workshops.
Earthpoint
As the most Earthward point on continental Terra, this location has been the target of many pilgrimages. Nobody really lives there. There a several old ruins in the area.
