Coveton is overcrowded. Once it was a small settlement, founded in -133 AGW by Vashti and Jahan as a haven for other experimental-humans-turned-Mythou; however, after Vashti's exile in 256 AGW and Coveton's transfer into Essann's hands, things went downhill, culminating in an uprising in 6218 AGW. (Sekh was a major player in that civil war.) Now, Coveton is mainly poor, crowded, and without any real guardian. Crime has risen drastically, and with it, a few crimefighters, such as Tindall and the McLeus family.
Sun's Cove being basically equivalent to India, Coveton is New Delhi, and its natives have dark, slightly reddish skin and dark hair. Examples include Vashti, Jahan, Distan, Eshevrhi, Rascathe, Essann and Penelope.
Solari, a large-ish island in the middle of Sun's Cove, is surprisingly much less populated than Spring and Coveton. Most of it is wilderness, with only a few scattered settlements.
