He looks down at his plate. He'd forgotten about it again, distracted by musings. At least with the latest message, he can get rid of the plans for the Lux. He won't need those. "Oh. Right." And he starts eating again, trying not to get distracted again.

Eshevrhi looks at the message blandly. Unlike Lys, he isn't fond of riddles, despite having a bad habit of avoiding answering things. He licks his lips nervously. "Yes...they will help...it's part of their war..." He clears his throat, passing the tablet to Zhiqi. "The wolf cub. Phoebe's daughter. The four..." he smiles grimly. "I don't know whether all four will join, but Uelricost will help as long as they don't straight out blow it when talking to him."

Lys's words are chilling to Zhiqi. How can he say this so easily? But then, she thinks, it must not be easy for him. No... he's reached his limit. This is the only course of action he sees open to him. She nods, face grim, saying nothing.

He doesn't, and suddenly Zhiqi doesn't feel like eating. She closes her eyes, her face wrinkled in concern... old wrinkles, which never stay, but appear in circumstances such as these.
