"We should start preparing for the case that they do, then. We may need help..." Spire isn't possessed of that many soldiers, is it? Cover is an option, though out of their way. They could ask Lys about that, too. Deep is practically right between Spire and Akra, only a little out of the way. Plus, they can contact him even faster than that, thanks to Venturius and their innovation.

She nods. "Venturius." And leans on him, eyes still tightly shut. How could she have left them - Yunoichi, Luna, Xiomara, Taizhi, and so many others - to fight Azandra's forces without her? It almost feels like Azandra didn't kill them, hurt them, maim them... she did.
